Megabus User Reviews
Megabus receives praise for its punctuality and the professionalism of its drivers, who ensure a safe journey. However, several reviews highlight discomfort due to seating issues and lack of space. Additionally, some passengers experienced difficulties with Wi-Fi connectivity and power outlets not functioning properly during their trips. Communication regarding delays could be improved as well.
The driver welcomed everyone on board. He let us know that the heat was on and gave us the password for the wifi. He chatted with some passengers up front. He announced each stop. He helped people stow and retrieve their bags. He helped me to get off the bus. He thanked us for taking Megabus. All these things were common years ago but not now. I haven't taken Megabus before so I don't know if all this is standard practice but it certainly should be.

Big bus was comfortable. Drivers were friendly and drove safely. Unfortunately the family with kids could not control their young kid and teenage son. Young kid was excessively loud inside the bus during the journey, often screaming “mom” or wanting some sort of attention. Teenage son was bothering another rider in front of him after Kingston. The rider had to turn around and scold him and his mom had to interfere. My seat was across from 25/26 and could not charge my ohone. The charger kept slipping out. Wifi was not able to connect for most of the trip.

I enjoyed nothing about this bus ride, it took over 7 hours for me to get from Ottawa to Toronto. Keep in mind I left at 1:15pm from Ottawa, or so I expected to, but the bus was late. This departure time should be good because it avoids rush hours, however I still got to Kingston at 3:45, taking almost 3 hours to get to a destination 2 hours away. My bus was then delayed 40 minutes, as we got into Megabus headquarters at 3:50, and departed at 4:35. Finally, we arrived at Union Station at a not even close to timely manner of 7:47pm. The second worst experience I've had with Megabus.

I enjoyed the friendliness of the staff. I didn't enjoy no notification that my bus was canceled. For previous trips I received emails if my bus was going to be delayed. I find it strange that there was no email for the cancelation. I was allowed to go on the next bus to my destination, however.

My bus was canceled and I didn’t get a notification. It set my whole schedule off and forced me to take a day off.

My overall experience was good. Was in time and drive was easy. Bus was pretty clean.
