Greyhound User Reviews
Greyhound has received positive feedback for its friendly and helpful drivers, contributing to a pleasant travel experience. However, several users have noted issues with unpleasant odors inside the buses and delays in arrival times. Additionally, some passengers reported discomfort due to torn seats or disorganization at stops leading to missed connections.
This trip went very smoothly. I had a two-leg trip with a 35-minute layover in the middle. We got to my first station in Raleigh, NC, around 10 minutes later than scheduled. I don't think this was Greyhound's fault, as there was slower-than-usual traffic caused by protests along the bus route. I had plenty of time to make my connection and complete the trip. If I had to improve something, it is that the layover station lacked signage to direct me to my next bus. I had to ask people waiting in the two lines to make sure I was in the right line.

Our bus driver was phenomenal and well informed on how to handle bus transferring procedures as our original bus broke down. Very professional and reassuring in directing all of his passengers. How ever the fact that the bus was in questionable working condition before we even left our original station for our 8 hour journey… we were delayed and ended up having an unplanned heavy 2 hour layover. The transportation staff still tried their best but I expect the buses to be maintained properly. None of the outlets are functioning, most chairs are not able to a lean back. So naps are not ideal on the long journeys. First bus was full blast AC, and we were absolutely freezing. The second rescue bus had absolutely no air circulation at all. I will not be booking with grey hound again unless absolutely necessary. Uncomfortable and unreliable source for a timely transportation.

I hate Greyhound. I got to the bus station and the bus was going to be 3 hours late. I'm not able to stand for long periods of time so I took an uber back to my hotel. It was 11:30 at night by the time I got back to the hotel and my new bus was scheduled to leave at 2:10 a.m. I set an alarm for 1:30 so I would have time to get back to the bus station because I knew I was going to be able to stay awake. My alarm woke me up at 1:30 and when I checked the ticket status it said my bus had just left. Because my bus had already departed, I'm now out $130. Don't understand how a company can treat people this way and still be open for business.

Had a trip cancellation and was on a 5 hour delay outside in Florida summer, that has never happened before

First the bus was late. Got a alert. Showed up at the new hour, just to be told thay the trip.was canceled. By the security guard, which inform me thos was typical.

Terrible experience, the bus was delayed by over two hours. The receptionist never gave any info of the bus time arrival, was very unprofessional. Never using greyhound again.
